The Clone Zone at cyclones.com caught up with former Cyclone basketball player Paul Shirley, who will be in Ames over the next few days practicing with head coach Greg McDermott's squad. Click the link above to watch a FREE video interview with Shirley, who is on ISU's All-Century Team ballot.

Shirley is between stints in the NBA after playing the three seasons with the Atlanta Hawks, Chicago Bulls and Phoenix Suns between 2002-05. The Meriden, Kan., native, is well-known for his often humorous blogs on ESPN.com while with the Phoenix Suns. Shirley is finishing up a book about his career in the NBA, entitled, Can I Keep My Jersey.  The book will debut on April 24, 2007.

Shirley ranks fourth in career field goal percentage (55.4 percent) and was a member of ISU's two Big 12 Championship teams in 2000 and 2001. He was a second-team Academic All-American in 2001.
