You’ll find a surprise around every corner as you follow the winding path and manicured gardens! Experience the wonders of nature found in the Wilds of Africa and Australia. The indoor Discover Center will amaze you with its mountainous and tropical habitats filled with exotic plants, birds, fish and animals. Blank Park Zoo is the only accredited zoo in the state of Iowa and is growing. In the past several years, the zoo has opened a new Australia Adventure, the new Hub Harbor Seal & Sea Lion Pool, and Jamaa Kwa Africa, featuring the endangered Black Rhinoceros.
