AMES, Iowa – Iowa State volleyball player Kristen Hahn was named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.

Hahn, a junior libero, recorded a season-high 26 digs in the No. 25 Cyclones’ (6-4, 0-0 Big 12) upset of No. 1 Nebraska (8-1, 0-0 Big Ten). Hahn also had two assists and a service ace as the Cyclones took down the Huskers in Hilton Coliseum for the first time in program history with a four set win (25-23, 25-22, 20-25, 25-21).

So far this season, Hahn is leading the Cyclones with 4.63 digs per set, which ranks fourth in the Big 12.
