AMES, Iowa - Iowa State (4-0, 0-0) travels to Las Vegas to participate in the 2012 Global Sports Classic, Nov. 23-24 at the Thomas & Mack Center. Iowa State will battle No. 22 Cincinnati (4-0, 0-0) in the third round of the tournament (the first two rounds were competed at on-campus sites) on Friday at 5:30 p.m. CST. Cincinnati is Iowa State's first ranked opponent of the season.

Cyclone Headlines
-Iowa State (4-0, 0-0) travels to Las Vegas to participate in the 2012 Global Sports Classic, Nov. 23-24 at the Thomas & Mack Center.

-Iowa State will battle No. 22 Cincinnati (4-0, 0-0) in the third round of the tournament (the first two rounds were competed at on-campus sites) on Friday at 5:30 p.m. CST. Cincinnati is Iowa State's first ranked opponent of the season.

-The Cyclones' fourth round opponent will either be No. 16 UNLV or Oregon at 7 or 9:30 p.m. The losers of the third round game will play at 7 p.m. and the winners will battle for the championship at 9:30 p.m.

-The Iowa State-Cincinnati game will be televised by CBS Sports Network. Only the championship game on Saturday will be televised.

-ISU is 2-5 all-time in games played in Las Vegas. The Cyclones first played in Las Vegas on Dec. 4, 1976, losing to UNLV, 115-80. ISU also lost to Arizona (75-61) at the Thomas & Mack Center in 1998.

-The Cyclones have competed in two prior Las Vegas Tournaments: 2001; Southern Illinois (L, 57-66), St. Louis (W, 77-72), Pennsylvania (L, 77-84); 2007; Purdue (W, 83-80), Alabama (L, 68-83).

-Iowa State remained unbeaten (4-0) after an 86-57 victory over North Carolina A&T Tuesday night. Tyrus McGee drilled four 3-pointers en route to a game-high 16 points to pace ISU.

-Iowa State made 11 3-pointers in the win, its third-straight game with 10 or more treys. ISU leads the Big 12 in 3-pointers per game at 10.0 and has made 10+ 3-pointers in a game 30 times in the Fred Hoiberg era.

-Iowa State is shooting 57.1 percent in the second half (72-126 FG) this season.

-Iowa State has outrebounded all four opponents by a +18.5 margin this season.
