AMES, Iowa – Iowa State gymnast Camille Santerre-Gervais has been named a First Team Regular Season All-American on uneven bars by the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches. The St.-Lazare, Quebec native, is currently ranked No. 6 in the country on bars with a regional qualifying score (RQS) of 9.925.

Santerre-Gervais has had an historic senior season on uneven bars, posting scores of 9.9 or higher six times in her past seven routines. That streak includes three scores of 9.95, tying the highest score ever posted on the apparatus by an Iowa State gymnast. She is the fifth Cyclone to ever put up a 9.95 on bars and just the second to do it more than twice in a career.

The senior capped off her regular season and moved into All-American position by winning the Big 12 uneven bars title with a score of 9.95, becoming Iowa State’s first Big 12 champion since 2012. Santerre-Gervais was also named the Big 12’s Event Specialist of the Year following the meet.

To be eligible for First Team Regular Season All-American honors from the NACGC/W, a gymnast must have an RQS in the top-eight nationally in their respective apparatus, or in the top-10 of the all-around.

Next up for the Cyclone gymnasts is NCAA Regionals in Baton Rouge, La. on Saturday, April 5 at 4 p.m. CT.
