National Cyclone Club Members

All paved parking located north and east of Jack Trice Stadium will be reserved for National Cyclone Club members.


Tailgating Policies

  • General public lots open 6 hours prior to kick off.
  • Donor lots open at 7 a.m. or six hours prior to kick off, whichever is earliest.
  • Examples:
    - 1 p.m. or later kick off:
    Donor lots open at 7 a.m.
    - 1 p.m. or earlier kick off: Donor lots open six hours prior

    * NOTE: Thursday, Aug. 30 kick off vs. Kent State: lots open at 1 p.m.

  • Enter the lots at the correct location (see back of parking pass for NCC members.)
  • Park and tailgate in one (1) space.
  • Clean your areas when leaving the parking lots.
  • No kegs, glass bottles, beer funnels or open fires.
  • Fires must be in a cooking grill.
  • Tents must be limited to 10’x10’.
  • Get to the gates early!

  • Alternative Routes to Jack Trice Stadium

    From the North: Take the 13th Street exit off I-35 and proceed West to Grand Avenue.  Turn left (South) on Grand Avenue to Lincoln Way.  Turn right (West) on Lincoln Way to Elwood Drive.  Turn Left (South) on Elwood and proceed to designated parking areas.

    From the South: From I-35, take HWY 30 West to Duff Avenue.  Turn right (North) on Duff Avenue and proceed to South 16th Street.  Turn left (West) on South 16th Street and proceed to parking areas. 

    National Cyclone Club members’ optional route from the South: Once on Duff Avenue, proceed North until you reach South 4th Street.  Turn left (West) on South 4th Street and proceed to Jack Trice Stadium.

    From the West: Take the Lincoln Way exit off HWY 30 on the West side of Ames and proceed to Beach Avenue or Elwood Drive.  Turn right (South) on the respective street and proceed to parking areas.

    From the East: Take HWY 30 West to Duff Avenue.  Turn right (North) on Duff Avenue and proceed to South 16th Street.  Turn left (West) on South 16th Street and proceed to parking areas.

     

    Recreational Vehicles (RV's)

    National Cyclone Club members bringing an RV will be issued one RV permit in either D3, D4 or S8 to be used for the entire season. Location will be determined based on giving level and priority points.

    Due to the increased number of requests for RV parking in lots D3 and S8, parking attendants from Per-Mar Security park each individual RV in order to accommodate the limited parking space.

     

    Overnight Parking

    Gates will remain open to National Cyclone Club members bringing RV's to park in lots D3, D4 or S8 form 6 p.m. to midnight the night before football game days. RV's will not be admitted into the designated RV lots after midnight and will be directed to park at the ISU Veterinary Medicine College (Parking Lot 93).

     

    General Public Parking

    RV's: General public bringing recreational vehicles the night before football game days will be directed to park at the ISU Veterinary Medicine College (Parking Lot 93).

    Medical Accessible Parking: Parking lot S2, south of Gate 3, is available to fans with a medical accessible parking permit issues by the State of Iowa DOT. Medical accessible parking will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. National Cyclone Club members with a DOT medical accessible parking permit will not be charged to park in lot S3.

    Located in lot S4, this family friendly environment will include:

    • Cy and the Spirit Squad
    • Cyclone Radio Network live remote
    • Cyclone Gridiron Club Tailgate
    • Gameday sponsor(s) tents
    • Concessions

     

    Cyclone Trolleys

    Need to get to the Cyclone Experience? Catch a ride on the Cyclone Trolley from your car to eight (8) pre-determined stops throughout the stadium complex. Tractors, provided by Van Wall, will begin transporting Cyclone fans 3 hours prior to kickoff and continue to the start of the game. Trolleys will resume service halfway through the 4th quarter until one hour after the conclusion of the game.
