LOS ANGELES - The Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings of the NHL left the 2012 ESPY Awards with the ESPY for Best Upset Wednesday, but they were at home. In the Cyclone State, Iowa State's win over No. 2 Oklahoma State Nov. 18 in Jack Trice Stadium still stands as the greatest win in school history and the Cyclones who traveled to the City of Angels will have memories of their whirlwind of 24 hours in Los Angeles.

"This was truly an event none of us will ever forget," Rhoads said. "I want to thank all the fans who voted for us around the world. The guys really enjoyed their brief visit."

Iowa State head coach Paul Rhoads made the trip with Jake Knott, Jared Barnett, Jeff Woody and Leonard Johnson. The Cyclone traveling party returns to Iowa Thursday night.
