AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State soccer team had an impressive six members advance to the United States Youth Soccer National Championships after their club teams won their respective regional title.

Sophomores Bridget Grandas, Caitlin Graboski, Erin Green and Maddie Jobe will be playing in the under-19 championships with their team Woodbury Inferno.  Woodbury Inferno won the Region 3 title today.

Sophomore Jessica Stewart will play in the national championships with Real Colorado National, a squad that won the Region 4 title.

Rounding out the Cyclones who will play at the national tournament is sophomore Brittany Morgan.  Morgan's Dallas Texan's squad was the champion of Region 3.

The club national championships will be held July 26-31 in Phoenix, Ariz.

In addition to the six Cyclones who advanced to the national tournament, Iowa State had eight more players competing at regional championships this summer.  They were: Margaret Powers and Theresa Kucera (Omaha Toro Elite), Emily Goldstein (So Cal Blues), Meredith Skitt (St. Louis Scott Gallagher), Addison Nokels (Omaha FC), Kaeli Flaska (Ohio Elite), Maggie Bruckman (Eastern Iowa United) and Jenna O'Dell (Michigan Jaguars).
