Cyclones Down Panthers 83-55
AMES, Iowa – The 20th-ranked Iowa State women’s basketball team (7-0, 0-0 Big 12) defeated the UNI Panthers (2-6, 0-0 Missouri Valley) 83-55 Wednesday evening, extending Iowa State’s nonconference home win streak to 73 consecutive games.
How it Happened:
The Cyclones used a 16-0 run to halt the Panthers in the first half, catapulting to a 17-point halftime lead, 43-26. Senior Hallie Christofferson led all scorers with 13 first-half points in just 12 minutes, while freshman Seanna Johnson nabbed eight points and nine rebounds to close the first.

Game Ball Goes To...
Seanna Johnson. Johnson recorded her second career double-double with 14 points and a career-high 13 rebounds. Johnson has now scored in double-figures the last five games and has recorded 10 or more rebounds on two occasions.
Honorable mention: Hallie Christofferson. Christofferson recorded 22 points in 22 minutes, while tacking on 5 rebounds and five assists. Christofferson headed to the bench to a standing ovation from the Cyclone faithful.
