AMES, Iowa - You may have been there with 30,000 of your best Cyclone friends. Some watched it on television. All Iowa State fans remember what they were doing on Dec. 28, 2000, the night Iowa State defeated Pittsburgh 37-29 in the Insight Bowl for the school's first-ever bowl victory. The Clone Zone at cyclones.com is pleased to provide video footage and a photo gallery of one of the most memorable bowl games in Cyclone history. From the pre-game pep rally the night before, to the pre-game tailgate, to the call of JaMaine Billups' game-sealing punt return for a touchdown by the legendary Pete Taylor, it's all included in this Clone Zone Classics video feature.

The Story: Iowa State Gets Full Team Effort to Beat Pittsburgh 37-29 in Insight.com Bowl | Box Score

Sage Rosenfels saved one of his best efforts for his final collegiate game, hitting on 23-of-34 passes for 308 yards and two touchdowns to lead Iowa State to its first-ever bowl game victory, a 37-29 decision over Pittsburgh. A pair of TD passes from Rosenfels to wide receiver Chris Anthony helped Iowa State bolt to a 27-7 halftime lead.

Pittsburgh fought back with a pair of third quarter touchdowns to close the ISU advantage to 27-20 after three periods. The Panthers punted to Iowa State in the first minute of the fourth quarter and freshman JaMaine Billups made perhaps the game's biggest play, returning the kick 72 yards for a touchdown and a 34-20 lead with 14:33 left in the game.

Pittsburgh closed the gap to 34-29 with 9:45 left before a Carl Gomez 41-yard field goal with 4:53 to go gave Iowa State its final margin of victory. Free safety Marc Timmons picked off a Pittsburgh pass with 3:11 left to end the Panthers' final drive.

Individual Performances:

- Chris Anthony, J.J. Moses and Craig Campbell each had five receptions
- Gomez had four punts for a 42-yard average, with three landing inside the Pittsburgh 20-yard line
- JaMaine Billups had 122 return yards
