To say what Iowa State's Jake Varner accomplished in his Cyclone wrestling career is legendary is undeniable. Varner made his mark known every time his arm was raised as the winner during the compilation of his 121 career victories.

Varner became the 13th four-time finalist in NCAA history with his repeat championship performance at 197 pounds in March at the 2010 NCAA Championships in Omaha, Neb. He is the 11th four-time All-American in ISU's proud wrestling history. Adding to his credit, the Bakersfield, Calif., native was a U.S. World Team member at 96 kg (211.5 pounds), competing in freestyle.
