Took part in nine meets for the Cyclones … sat out first three competitions of 2014 due to injury … started out just on beam before joining the rotation on bars and making a couple of appearances on floor … tied a career high with a 9.900 on beam at Minnesota … recorded a 9.875 at NCAA Regional … posted season-high 9.850 on bars at NCAA Regional.

Placed fifth on beam at the NCAA Championships, the highest finish on the apparatus in program history…All-America First-Team honoree…scored a career-high-tying 9.900 on beam at the semifinal stage of the NCAA Championships to earn a trip to the event finals…scored 9.8375 on beam at the NCAA Championships event finals…qualified for the NCAA Championships in the all-around after scoring 39.050 at the Cyclones’ NCAA Regional in Tuscaloosa, Ala…set a new career high on bars (9.900) at the Cyclones’ meet at UCLA…competed at every ISU meet in 2013…placed first on beam at UCLA…earned first place on beam at Iowa…won beam against Northern Illinois…placed first on beam at West Virginia…beam champion in the meet against Kent State...earned the team’s Sky High Award for posting the highest score on an event in 2013 (9.900 beam and 9.900 bars)…Academic All-Big 12 First Team…Chi Sigma Alpha…named the Big 12 Event Specialist of the Week on March 11 following her performances at Iowa and UCLA.

Made the Iowa State bars, beam and floor lineup at all 12 Iowa State meets...tied for second on beam at the NCAA Salt Lake City Regional with a season-high-tying 9.825...tied her career high in the all-around at the Big 12 Championship...had the Cyclones' highest beam score at the Big 12 Championship...tied her then-season high in the all-around at the Perfect 10 Challenge with a 38.925...scored a then-season-high 39.100 in the all-around in Iowa State's win over No. 22 Minnesota...tallied a then season-high 9.825 on beam en route to tying for the title on the apparatus at Minnesota. 

NCAA nationals qualifier in the all-around after placing fifth in the all-around at the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional...Big 12 Newcomer of the Year...Big 12 Gymnast of the Week (Feb. 15)...Big 12 Newcomer of the Week (Jan. 11, Feb. 1 and Feb. 22)...placed 13th in the all-around in her session of the NCAA National Championships and tied for 11th on beam...Iowa State team Freshman of the Year...made her collegiate debut against Auburn with a strong performance in the all-around, highlighted by a title-winning 9.850 on beam...named the Mari-Rae Sopper Award winner against Auburn...scored an event-winning 9.900 on beam in Iowa State’s win over Iowa...won the beam crown against Missouri (9.875) and took second in the all-around at the meet...tied for the beam title against Nebraska...tied for the all-around title at BYU with teammate Michelle Browning...won the all-around at N.C. State...won the all-around against Oklahoma with a career-best 39.150...competed all-around at all but one meet...competed bars and beam at every meet.

Competed for Gwinnett Gymnastics Center for 11 2009, was the junior Olympic national beam champion in the senior A division...placed 17th in the all-around at the 2010 Senior C Junior Olympic National Championships, while tying on for second on floor and taking eighth on vault at the event...qualified as a Junior International Elite and competed in the United States Classic and VISA Championships in 2006...qualified for the Junior Olympic Natinoal Championships from 2007, won the Region 8 all-around, vault, beam and floor titles...on the event’s final rotation, scored a perfect 10 on floor in the 2009 Georgia high school state championship to secure the team title...won the 2009 high school state beam, floor and all-around titles, while also winning the beam and floor crowns in 2010...voted Most Athletic for high school senior class...a two-time letterwinner in high school.

Born July 10, 1992 in Snellville, Ga...daughter of Amy Shealy and Nelson Shealy...the fourth of six children and her siblings from oldest to youngest are Christa, Stephen, David, Michael, and Joseph...graduated from Providence Christian Academy...coached in club by Dan Thaxton, Courtney Puckett Oros and Josh Overton...high school coach was Gwyn Puckett...a member of the National Honor Society and had a 4.0 high school grade-point average...majoring in elementary education.
