AMES, Iowa - The excitement that surrounds the Iowa State football program under Paul Rhoads is affirmed by the hot pace of Cyclone season-ticket renewals and new orders. Total ticket orders to date for the 2012 season are more than four times the number sold at this point one year ago. The flood of orders follows Iowa State's 2011 season, which included a record average attendance mark (53,647) and saw the Cyclones draw more than 50,000 fans to every home game, a school first.

"It is gratifying that fans recognize what Paul Rhoads is building in Ames," Iowa State senior associate athletics director Frank Nogel said. "Two bowl appearances in three seasons, the historic win over Oklahoma State and a memorable victory over Iowa last season are fueling unprecedented visibility for Iowa State football in Iowa and across the country.  The numbers speak for themselves."

Fans who order football season tickets through Friday can renew their ticket order and not pay a $25 processing fee and still have a chance to win great prizes.

A year ago, Iowa State had sold nearly 1,800 football season tickets.  Today that number stands at almost 8,000. This includes 600 new season-ticket orders.
Cyclone Club members also have until March 30 to submit their donations and receive priority points. Cyclone Club donations can be made online or by downloading a printable donation form here.

Iowa State's 2012 football schedule includes a seven-game slate featuring non-conference foes Tulsa (Sept. 1) and Western Illinois (Sept. 15) with conference opponents Texas Tech (Sept. 29), Kansas State (Oct. 13), Baylor (Homecoming) (Oct. 27), Oklahoma (Nov. 3), and newest member of the Big 12 Conference, West Virginia (Nov. 24).

Reserved football season tickets are $375. Hillside tickets are $99. A mini-pack plan that covers tickets for seating in specific sections for three home games (Baylor, Oklahoma, and West Virginia) is priced at $75 and will go on sale Sept. 5.   Jr. Cyclone Club (formerly known as the Lil Clone Club) memberships are on sale now for only $49 (same price as 2011).   To order your Jr. Cyclone Club membership now, click here.
Due to limited availability, the $225 season ticket option is available to current season-ticket holders only. (If any tickets remain, they would be available to the public on May 23). The $175 and $150 season ticket options are not on sale, if available after the renewal period, they will go on sale May 23.  Football season-ticket purchasers can also choose a flexible payment plan. Enrollment in the plan requires a valid credit card through August 2012. The card used at sign-up will be automatically charged. To take advantage of a flexible-payment plan, your order must be placed online by May 31.  To renew or purchase your season tickets, go here.
