AMES, Iowa - Iowa State's recent basketball history includes six former prep school stars who flourished as freshman in the Big 12 Conference. Not an easy thing to do.

That list includes Will Blalock (Notre Dame Prep), Curtis Stinson (Winchendon Prep), Rahshon Clark (Bridgton Academy), Craig Brackins (Brewster Academy), Melvin Ejim (Brewster Academy) and now Georges Niang (Tilton School).
