AMES, Iowa - Iowa State (16-8, 6-5) returns home to face TCU (10-14, 1-10) on Saturday. Iowa State won the first meeting between the two schools in Fort Worth earlier this season (63-50). Tyrus McGee led the Cyclones with 16 points.

-Iowa State (16-8, 6-5) returns home to face TCU (10-14, 1-10) on Saturday. Iowa State won the first meeting between the two schools in Fort Worth earlier this season (63-50). Tyrus McGee led the Cyclones with 16 points.

-Iowa State lost yet another heartbreaker on the road on Wednesday, falling to Texas in Austin, 89-86 in double overtime. ISU has lost three Big 12 road games by a last-second shot in regulation, including two games (Kansas, Texas) by a last-second 3-pointer which sent the game into overtime where ISU eventually lost.

-Iowa State currently owns a 20-game homecourt winning streak, the fourth-best string in school history and the fifth-best active streak in the nation.

-Iowa State is the only school in the Big 12 with a perfect home record (13-0).

-ISU has won 12-straight Big 12 games at home, tying for the second-best league homecourt winning streak in school history. ISU's last loss at home was on Jan. 11, 2012 to Missouri (76-69).

-Iowa State leads the Big 12 and ranks third nationally in 3-pointers per game (9.3), connecting on 10 or more treys 13 times this season and 40 times in the Fred Hoiberg era. ISU has made 10 or more treys in five of the last six games, averaging 10.3 3FG pg in that span.

-Iowa State leads the Big 12 and ranks seventh nationally in scoring at 78.6 ppg. ISU has scored 70 points or more in 87.5 pct. of its games, the highest pct. of 70-point games in the nation.

-Iowa State is 66-of-79 from the free-throw line (83.5 pct.) in its last four games.

-Melvin Ejim leads the Big 12 in both rebounding (9.7 rpg) and double-doubles (10). At 6-6, Ejim has the best rebounding avg. (9.7) of any player 6-6 or shorter in the nation.

-Tyrus McGee leads the Big 12 in both 3-pointers per game (2.7) and 3-point pct. (43.9). McGee has made three or more 3-pointers in a game 15 times this season.
