The National Cyclone Club (NCC) is the annual giving program to support Iowa State University student-athletes. The financial support provided by contributions to the NCC plays a key role in assisting our student-athletes in their pursuit of academic and competitive excellence. As a member of the NCC, you can take pride in knowing that you are helping build a strong future for Iowa State Athletics.

Serving as the backbone for funding the future success of Iowa State Athletics, the NCC is the lifeblood of our support network. There is a misconception that only major financial gifts make a difference. That sentiment could not be more incorrect. Raising membership in the NCC is one of the most realistic goals we can set and also one of the most impactful.

Donations to the NCC and revenues from ticket sales accounted for 44% of the department’s revenues in FY06. Our peer institutions in the Big 12 Conference generated nearly 60% of their income from those same two sources. What does that mean? Iowa State clearly needs to sell more season football tickets and increase the number of members in the National Cyclone Club!
