Cyclones and Bulldogs End In Draw
DES MOINES, Iowa- The Iowa State soccer team (6-6-2) tied the Drake Bulldogs 1-1 Sunday in Des Moines, Iowa at the Cownie Soccer Park.
Turning point of the game
In the 68th minute Emily Goldstein fired a corner kick that Haley Albert headed into the Drake goal. Before that point the Bulldogs (2-7-3) had a 1-0 lead over the Cyclones. Iowa State was able to get good looks but unable to capitalize on the cold and wet day.

Cyclone game ball goes to…
Haley Albert. With the Cyclones trailing 1-0 in the second period the sophomore put a header into the back of the Bulldogs net in the 68th minute. Albert’s goal gave the Cyclones momentum for the remainder of the game. The goal is the second for Albert, who scored her first against Texas Tech, also a header off a corner kick.
