Cyclones Drop Contest To No. 18 Oklahoma, 7-0

NORMAN, Okla. The Iowa State tennis team (8-13, 0-8 Big 12) dropped a 7-0 decision to No. 18 Oklahoma (15-3, 5-1) Sunday at the Gregg Wadley Indoor Tennis Pavilion.

Oklahoma earned the doubles points despite Iowa State getting a win at the No. 2 slot from Meghan Cassens and Ana Gasparovic. The Cyclone duo defeated OU’s Whitney Wofford and Morgan Chumney, 8-5.

The Sooners were able to sweep singles play en route to their fourth-straight win.

Iowa State closes regular season play next Sunday at West Virginia. The match will begin at 9 a.m. (CT).
