ISU Cross Country Course

Iowa State's cross country program dedicated the $250,000 ISU Cross Country Course in October of 1995 and showcased the project at the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships that fall. The course was also the site of the 2000 NCAA Championships and the 2008 Big 12 Championships. The course, 8,000-meters for men and 6,000-meters for women, was the first course in the nation designed exclusively for competitive cross country racing.

Ultimately, the course is an appropriate ground on which to test the nation's best runners. It is a home worthy of Iowa State cross country programs that have won multiple national championships.
