AMES, Iowa - Iowa State track and field athletes Dani Stack and Ian Warner placed in the women's 5,000-meters and the men's 100-meters, respectively at the 2012 North American, Central American and Caribbean (NACAC) Under-23 Track & Field Championships in Guanajuato, Mexico.
Warner, who is headed to this month's Olympic Games in London, placed seventh in the 100-meter dash, clocking an effort of 10.40 Friday in Paralympic Stadium. The Canadian also ran a leg on the fourth-place 4 x 100-meter relay for his native country Saturday. Stack finished third in the 5,000-meter run in 18:07.87 on Sunday to bring home a bronze medal.
