Henderson, Brouillette Conclude Day-Two of Zones

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Day two of the NCAA Zone ‘D’ Diving Championship concluded yesterday with Cyclones divers Jessica Henderson and Elyse Brouillette finishing in 24th and 29th-place, respectively, on the 3-meter board. Brouillette posted a 268.70-point performance – missing the 18-diver final by 18.90-points – while Henderson ended the night at 258.40.

Brouillette has led the Cyclones on the 3-meter board throughout the 2013-14 season, achieving her lifetime best in the event earlier in the year against Big 12 Conference rival TCU. The sophomore diver posted a score of 329.48, moving her to second-place all-time in school history.

Later today, the duo will return to the diving well for the platform event, a board each diver has had success on this season. Both Brouillette and Henderson have recorded personal best scores on platform this year, with scores of 251.25 and 228.10, respectively.

The final day of competition at the University Aquatics Center on the University of Minnesota campus begins at 11 a.m. CT today.
