The Jr. Cyclone Club is the official fan club for Cyclone fans 12th grade and younger.

What’s new for the Jr. Cyclone Club in 2015-2016?
In Jack Trice Stadium, the northeast and northwest hillsides will now be designated solely for the Jr. Cyclone Club and their parents. In order for the hillsides to remain exclusive for Jr. Cyclone Club families, hillside season and single-game football tickets will NOT be sold to the public. Jr. Cyclone Club parents may purchase a season “parent pass” in order to sit with their Jr. Cyclone Club member on the hillsides – a limit of two (2) parent passes per household.

  • When 2015 football season ticket renewals begin on February 13 via Cyclones.com, parents may also start registering their children online at jrcycloneclub.com. The early bird membership price is $49 each. Beginning April 2, memberships increase to $59 each.
  • When parents go online at jrcycloneclub.com to register their children for 2015-2016, at the same time they may purchase up to two (2) season parent passes per household for hillside seating at $99 each.
  • The northeast and northwest hillsides do have limited seating capacity. We will sell a total of 6,000 seats between the Jr. Cyclone Club memberships and parent passes until they are sold out.
  • If parents already have reserved season or single-game reserved football tickets, they do NOT need to purchase any additional parent passes.

Club members receive an official club t-shirt, lanyard, membership card, invitations to special events & admission to over 70 sporting events at Jack Trice Stadium and Hilton Coliseum, including:

  • Football: Jr. Cyclone Club Hillsides for all home games (including the Iowa game)
  • Women’s Basketball: general admission seating in lower level sections 121-123
  • Volleyball: general admission
  • Wrestling: general admission for home meets
  • Gymnastics: general admission
  • Soccer: general admission
  • Softball: general admission

Jr. Cyclone membership cards are not valid for men’s basketball games. Members and their families will be given an opportunity to purchase tickets for select men’s basketball games. Detailed information will be sent in the fall.

Members do not receive free admission to post-season events. For example, NCAA Tournament events would require the purchase of a youth ticket to attend.

Who is eligible to be a Jr. Cyclone Club member? All children 12th grade and younger. Note: children two (2) years of age and older must either have a game ticket or a Jr. Cyclone Club membership to gain access to Jack Trice Stadium and Hilton Coliseum (the membership card has a bar code on it which is scanned at the stadium gates for entry).
When do we receive the packets with the shirt, membership card, and other materials?

The annual "Packet Pick-Up Day" is generally held in July (and additional pick-up days in the Jacobson Athletic Building). After that, we will mail membership packets in late July and in August. From then on, packets are mailed out every week. However, packets are NOT mailed the week of any home football game (packets are to be picked up at Cyclone Experience on game day – see the other side of this page for our game day location).

How do Jr. Cyclone Club members get into events? Members MUST have their membership card for admission into Jack Trice Stadium and Hilton Coliseum (the card will be scanned upon entering our venues – again, with the exception of men’s basketball games and the Iowa State vs Iowa wrestling meet). Parents/guardians must purchase a game ticket to gain admission into these venues as well.
What happens if the Jr. Cyclone Club membership cards get lost or misplaced?

Depending on the age of the member, we highly encourage parents to keep a close eye on the membership card by placing them in their wallets or purses for safe- keeping. We understand that losing the membership card may happen and cards are lost even when on the lanyards; however, there could be another full price fee for another membership card, so please handle them with care.

If you have questions, simply email Beth Handlos right away if you are missing a card bhandlos@iastate.edu or call her at 515-294-3558.

If you lose a card on game day or forget it at home, stop by Cyclone Experience for a new membership card or temporary one-time pass.
Why do I have to give my email address when registering? All Jr. Cyclone Club announcements and updates are sent via email. The provided email address will only be used for Jr. Cyclone Club related emails. Upon your written request, we can remove or change your email address (but just note that you will not receive any updates or any further information).
It's getting closer to the next game and I haven't received my membership packet, how does my member get into the event?

Again, packets will not be mailed the week of any home game (you are highly encouraged to renew/sign-up kids in the spring/early summer to avoid long lines on game day due to last minute membership registrations); therefore, parents must stop by Cyclone Experience on game day to pick up their packet - especially the membership card - prior to entering Jack Trice Stadium.

For events at Hilton Coliseum, parents need to contact Beth Handlos and she can place a membership card at Hilton Will Call under the parent’s name (and then we send the shirt and lanyard in the mail).  Last minute memberships to attend sporting events at Hilton cannot be guaranteed if the request is made on a Friday or on the weekend.

If you have questions prior to game day, contact Beth Handlos in the Athletics Marketing Department by phone at (515-294-3558) or via email (bhandlos@iastate.edu).

The t-shirts ran small last year -- what will they be like this year so I know the best size to order (and do they shrink)? The brand of the shirt depends on the company used to produce the shirts, but plan on the shirts running small. They will shrink when washed as most of the shirts are 100% cotton. Also, shirts can only be exchanged for a different size as long as they have not been washed and we still have them in stock.
Do Jr. Cyclone Club members have to wear their shirts to the events? It is not mandatory for members to wear their club t-shirts to events, but highly encouraged. However, please remember that it's the membership card that gains a member access to Jack Trice Stadium and Hilton Coliseum, not the shirt.
I forgot my username and password that I created to renew my child’s membership, now what? You will need to email Beth Handlos (bhandlos@iastate.edu) to re-set your username & password. Reminder to keep your username and password somewhere safe for easy access in the future as you’ll need them every spring to renew memberships online.
I need to update my contact information (mailing address, email, phone, etc.) how can I do that? Simply click the "Renew My Membership" button at the top of the page. Enter your username & password. On the left-hand side of the page, click "Update Profile".
