Letterwinners Share What the Letter Means to Them

MES, Iowa - The gold letter ‘I’ has been embraced and worn by generations. The Letter Jacket has become the symbol of hard work, tradition, commitment, honor, sacrifice, family, and legacy. A new tradition was created in 2008 with the Letter Jacket Ceremony which is held two times a year; once in the spring and once in the fall. This event brings together current student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and lettererwinners to showcase the tradition of what the letter ‘I’ represents.
