Iowa State Splits At Big Four Meet

CHANDLER, Ariz. - The Iowa State men's golf team competed against the other three Iowa Division I universities in the annual exhibition Big Four Match at the Lone Tree Golf Club in Chandler, Ariz.

Iowa State split the two matches, defeating UNI, 5 ½-½ in the first match and losing to Iowa, 3 ½-2 ½  in the nightcap.

Stroke play was used in the competition in a head-to-head match where a point was awarded for each team for the lowest score. Ruben Sondjaja was the Cyclones' top performer today, carding rounds of 71-67 (138).
