Had one of the greatest single-season turnarounds in ISU wrestling history, as he improved his win total by 27-wins from 2011-12 en route to All-America honors and a sixth-place finish at 165 pounds at the NCAA Championships... was one of eight unseeded wrestlers to reach the All-American podium... Posted a 31-10 record and led the 2012-13 Cyclones in wins... went 5-3 at the NCAA tournament posting two pins and one tech fall... finished dual competition with 12-4 record, notching seven bonus point victories... dual season was highlighted by a 5-2 win over three-time All-American Tyler Caldwell of Oklahoma State at the Big 12 Duals...
