Golfers Tied For Fifth At LSU Invitational

BATON ROUGE, La. - The Iowa State men's golf team is in a three-way tie for fifth after two rounds at the LSU Invitational. The Cyclones carded rounds of 298 and 293 today for a 591 total. Iowa is in first place at 568.

Scott Fernandez leads the Cyclones, firing rounds of 74 and 70 (144) to put him in a tie for 10th. Nate McCoy is currently in 15th place, shooting rounds of 75 and 71 (146). 

The final round will conclude tomorrow with 18 holes.
