Pink Receives National Marketing Award

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State’s Athletics Marketing Department has received another national award. Associate Athletics Director for Marketing Mary Pink was presented the InStadium Experience Innovation Award for Marketing, which was presented to her Monday evening at the Sports and Entertainment Alliance in Technology (SEAT) Conference in Miami. Pink received the award for her efforts in the marketing of Iowa State football season tickets.

“It’s an honor to be recognized for this award,” Pink said. “What InStadium is doing by presenting these awards is fantastic. Every team works hard to enhance the fan experience. InStadium is not only recognizing us for our hard work, but is also on the front lines of innovating the game day experience.”

The Marketing category of the InStadium Experience Innovation Awards recognizes those in the industry who have excelled in in-venue media and technology to improve fan experience and drive the marketing goals of the teams. Iowa State was the only non-professional sports organization to be a finalist for an award, with other finalists coming from the National Football League, the National Basketball Association, the National Hockey League, Major League Baseball and Major League Soccer.

The Iowa State Marketing Department was recognized earlier this summer by the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) with four awards, including a gold honor for the men’s basketball 3-point tracking campaign.
