Brouillette Takes 21st on Platform

HOUSTON, Texas- Freshman diver Elyse Brouillette finished 21st on platform on Wednesday at the NCAA Zone “D” Diving Championships in the CRWC at the University of Houston.

Brouillette started out with a forward 3½ somersault tuck where she scored 32.40 points and rediscovered her confidence after a rough third dive where she scored 29.40 on her reverse 1 ½ somersault tuck. On her fifth and sixth dives Brouillette recorded her highest scores of 48.60 for her inward 2 ½ somersault tuck and 46.80 for her back 1 ½ somersault 1 ½ twist free. 

Brouillette finished the season ranking fourth in Iowa State history on all three boards and led the Cyclones for the season.
