2013 FILA Junior National All-American (third-place)

2013-14
Competed in four duals for the Cyclones, posting a mark of 3-1 ... notched dual victories against Austin Sommer (Drexel), Tyler McMichael (Midland) and Nick Olejnik (North Dakota State) ... went 10-4 in tournaments while competing at the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open and at the Southern Scuffle ... earned a 21-6 tech-fall over Pratt CC's Austin Hughey (Harold Nichols Cyclone Open) and pinned North Carolina's Jake Crawford (Southern Scuffle) ... also picked up a 15-6 major decision over Bucknell's Logan Kerin.

2012-13
Started every dual for the Cyclones in his first year of competition… finished the year with a 17-19 overall record and a 3-13 mark in dual competition… went 3-2 at the Midlands Championships with wins over Ethan Smith (Utah Valley), Danny Orem (Maryland) and Jake Crawford (North Carolina)... took fourth-place at the UNI Open as he posted a 3-2 record with wins over Taylor Berger (UNI), Jacob Gingerich (Illinois) and Pat Smith (Minnesota)… competed at the FILA Junior Nationals in Las Vegas, Nev. where he was an All-American at 74 KG (163 pounds)… dropped his first match then went 8-0 en route to a third-place finish. 

2011-2012
Redshirted initial collegiate season ... posted a 13-4 record competing unattatched … placed first at the Kaye Young Open with a 4-0 record earning major decisions over Coby Carson of Ellsworth by a margin of 13-5 and a 20-9 margin over an unattached Joe Yoder … earned two major decisions at the Harold Nichols/Cyclone Open in a 19-8 match over Joe Yoder and a 14-5 victory over Ellsworth’s Bryant Heagney … placed first at the UNI Open with a 4-0 record … placed fifth at the Grand View Open with a 3-2 record.

High School
Four-time state qualifier in Nebraska... state champion in 2010 and 2011 while at Lincoln High School... posted a 158-13 career prep record... coached by Ben Johnson.
