AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State gymnastics team (1-3 overall, 0-1 Big 12) will hit the road for the second-straight weekend as they head to Corvallis, Ore. to take on No. 16 Oregon State (2-1) on Saturday at 9 p.m. CT.

The two squads have not faced each other since a 196.075-194.100 Cyclone victory in 2007, head coach Jay Ronayne’s first year at Iowa State. The No. 16 Beavers will be the Cyclones’ fourth top-20 opponent already this season.

The Cyclones will be looking to rebound from a 196.675-193.050 loss to No. 1 Oklahoma last weekend. Despite the loss, there were several bright spots in Iowa State’s performance, particularly on vault. Sophomore Alex Marasco and senior Henrietta Green both set season-highs on the vault. Marasco’s score of 9.725 was the best individual score for the Cyclones on vault this season.
