Cyclones To Face No. 21 Denver, No. 17 Boise State
AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State gymnastics team (4-8 overall, 1-1 Big 12) will travel to Denver, Colo. this weekend for a triangular meet with No. 21 Denver and No. 17 Boise State at Hamilton Gymnasium on Saturday at 7 p.m. CT. It will be the Cyclones' final regular season meet before the Big 12 Championships in Morgantown, W.V.
The Cyclones are coming off their second-highest score of the season in a 195.925-192.775 victory over Iowa on senior night. The Cyclones posted season-high scores on both uneven bars (49.275) and floor exercise (49.150) in the victory.
Two seniors put up career-highs in what would be their final routines in Hilton Coliseum on senior night. Megan McDonald posted a 9.875 on uneven bars, while Henrietta Green put up the highest score of her career with a 9.9 on floor. Another senior, Milan Ivory, also tied a career-best effort on floor with a 9.875 to cap off Iowa State’s win.
