AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State gymnastics team will open their 2014 season at home on Sunday as they face No. 15 Penn State. The dual is set to begin at 2 p.m. CT in Hilton Coliseum and can be watched live on

The Cyclones return the bulk of their team from an exciting 2013 squad that took second place at the Big 12 Championships behind a season-high score of 196.175. Iowa State brings back nine of its top 10 scorers from last season, including Michelle Shealy, who took home All-America First-Team honors on beam last season with a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Championships.

Iowa State also returns three gymnasts who garnered All-Big 12 Championship Team honors last season. Milan Ivory (vault), Camille Santerre-Gervais (bars) and Caitlin Brown (beam), all finished in the top three of their respective events at the Big 12 Championships.
