No. 25 Iowa State Defeats Northwestern In Dual

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The No. 25 Iowa State women's golf team defeated Northwestern in a match play dual, 13-8 Sunday in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Each match was worth three points with one point awarded after each nine holes in match play and a point given to the lowest score in stroke play after 18 holes.

Iowa State's Beth Wagner, Prima Thammaraks, Sasikarn On-iam and Cajsa Persson all won their respective matches.

Suchaya Tangkamolprasert (NU) defeated Katie Gustafson (ISU), 3-0
Beth Wagner (ISU) defeated Brittany Mai (NU), 3-0
Chonlada Chayanun (ISU) halved with Elizabeth Szokol (NU), 1.5-1.5
Prima Thammaraks (ISU) defeated Devon Brown (NU), 2.5-.5
Sasikarn On-iam (ISU) defeated Kaitlin Park (NU), 3-0
Hana Lee (NU) defeated Punpaka Phuntumabamrung (ISU), 2-1
Cajsa Persson (ISU) defeated Lauren Weaver (NU), 2-1

Total: Iowa State 13, Northwestern 8

Iowa State competes in the Lady Puerto Rico Classic, Feb. 10-12.
