AMES, Iowa – Oklahoma State ran for 179 yards and scored three touchdowns in the third quarter to break open the game and defeat Iowa State, 58-27, Saturday afternoon at Jack Trice Stadium. Turning Point of the Game
The wind played a big factor in the game in the first half and in the second half Oklahoma State opened going against the wind. The Cowboys didn’t have to worry about the wind as they got their rushing game going and gained 179 yards on the ground in the third quarter, outscoring the Cyclones 21-0 to break open what was a one-score game at halftime (28-20). OSU’s Desmond Roland had 174 of those rushing yards, including a 58-yard scamper.

Offensive Game Ball Goes To...
Quenton Bundrage had a pair of touchdown catches, his second multi-touchdown game this season. His second TD was an acrobatic grab that pulled Iowa State to within a touchdown late in the second quarter. Bundrage finished the game with four catches for 50 yards. The sophomore now has 29 catches this season and six touchdowns.

Defensive Game Ball Goes To...
Jeremiah George finished with 12 tackles, recording his sixth-straight game with double-digit stops. The senior linebacker also had two tackles for a loss.

Freshman Nigel Tribune made his first interception of the game and also had four tackles and a pass breakup in his third career start.
