AMES, Iowa – Iowa State head men’s golf coach Andrew Tank announced today that Levi Fink, the 2014 NJCAA D-II national champion and Iowa Masters champion, will join the Cyclone golf team.

A native of Wadena, Iowa, Fink became just the sixth player from the state of Iowa to win a junior college national title when he fired rounds of 77-68-72-70 at the 2014 NJCAA D-II national championships for North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC). He continued his outstanding play in the summer by winning the Iowa Masters (71-67-71), one of the top amateur events in the state.

Fink was one of 24 collegiate golfers selected to the GCAA All-Nicklaus team in 2014.

Fink, who will have two years of eligibility remaining, was runner-up at the 2012 Iowa High School Class 1A State Meet for Valley of Elgin High School.
