AMES, Iowa – Due to expected rain in Ames on Wednesday, the Cyclones (18-22, 3-6 Big 12) have postponed their doubleheader with UMKC. A makeup date has not been announced.

Wednesday’s games are the fourth and fifth contests affected by weather as the Cyclones have already had games cancelled against George Washington and North Carolina this season. Iowa State’s game at Drake has been postponed twice because of rain and is now scheduled for Tuesday April 23.

With no midweek games this week, the Cyclones will prepare to host Texas Tech April 19-21 at the Cyclone Sports Complex where the team is 4-0 this season.

Friday’s series opens at 4 p.m. CDT.
