WACO, Texas – The Iowa State volleyball team (14-6, 8-2 Big 12) swept Baylor (11-15, 3-7 Big 12) on the road Saturday night 3-0 (25-16, 25-16, 25-16). The Cyclones continued to impress at the service line, recording eight aces, the third consecutive match with as many service aces.

Iowa State used a pair of 3-0 runs to gain separation in the first set. The Cyclones closed out the match with a 7-1 run in the third stanza. Tory Knuth led the Iowa State attack with 10 kills at a .643 hitting percentage.

Turning Point of the Match
Iowa State and Baylor traded points early in the second set, but the Cyclones broke open a six-point lead largely in part to the strong play of Mackenzie Bigbee and Tory Knuth. The two accounted for six points during a 7-0 Cyclone run that was bookended by block assists from the sophomores. Ciara Capezio also added a kill over the stretch.

Cyclone Match Ball Goes to…
Kristen Hahn. The senior libero recorded 26 digs on the match and added a service ace. Her 26 digs extended her streak with 10+ digs to 60 matches. Hahn is now tied for the record of career matches with 20+ digs with 44 such matches. The Cedar Rapids native is now tied with former libero Ashley Mass (2007-10). Her 26 digs are the most by a Big 12 player in a three-set match this season, and the third most in a three-set match in Cyclone history.

Honorable mention goes to Tory Knuth, with her third career match with double-figure kills with 10. The sophomore middle blocker also tied a season high with four block assists. Ciara Capezio just missed out on a double-double with nine kills and nine digs, plus two service aces.

Cyclone Notes
*Iowa State has now defeated Baylor nine straight times. The Cyclones lead the all-time series 20-18.
*The Cyclones' 71 digs is the most by a Big 12 team in a three-set match this season and ISU's highest total in a three-set match since 2009.
*ISU has now had 36 service aces in the last three matches.
*Iowa State out-blocked Baylor 8.0-5.0. The Cyclones have only been ahead in blocks three times this season.
*Jenelle Hudson had her second conseuctive double-double with 31 assists and 16 digs. It was Hudson's 10th double-double of the season.
*Kristen Hahn extended her streak of matches with at least 10 digs to 60 matches with her 26 digs tonight.
*Hahn’s 26 digs are the second-most in her career in a three-set match. She had 28 digs in the sweep at Baylor last season.
*Hahn tied Ashley Mass' school record for most 20+ dig matches in a career with 44 matches over 20. Hahn has two straight matches with at least 20 digs.
*Ciara Capezio moved into the freshman single-season top-10 lists for both kills and service aces. Capezio now has 211 kills on the season, 10th on the freshman record list, and 26 aces, up to seventh on that list.
*Tory Knuth had 10 kills for her third career match, second in a row, with at least 10 kills.
*Knuth tied her season-best with four block assists.
