Iowa State Falls To No. 36 Washington

SEATTLE, Wash. - Iowa State (2-6, 0-0 Big 12) dropped a nonconference dual Sunday to No. 36 Washington (8-3, 0-0 Pac 12), 7-0.

Jenna Langhorst and Ksenia Pronina lost in a close matchup at the No. 1 doubles against Douglas-Miron and Shimzu, 8-5.

Ksenia Pronina was also involved in a competitive match at the No. 2 singles. Pronina eventually fell in three sets to Grace Ysidora, 3-6, 6-3, 10-7.

Iowa State will return home for their first home dual since Feb. 10. The Cyclones will host Drake Friday with play starting at 6:00 p.m.
