AMES, Iowa - Iowa State (4-6, 0-0 Big 12) captured its third-straight team win with a 7-0 victory over Grand View (1-4, 0-0 MCC).

Iowa State swept the doubles point without problems. Emma Waites and Ellie Nixon began play with a No. 3 doubles victory over Angela Nimms and Breeana Sitzman, 8-1. The Cyclones wrapped up the doubles point with another convincing victory from Meghan Cassens and Ana Gasparovic. The duo won 8-0 over Debra Hermanson and Jennie Darrow.

The Cyclones won the singles portion of the dual handily. Iowa State only gave up two games through all six singles matches.

Meghan Cassens highlighted the Cyclones weekend going 3-0 in singles play and had a win in doubles as well. Cassens won twice playing as the No. 1 for the first time this season.
