Big 12 Conference Announces New Branding Initiatives

AMES, Iowa - The Big 12 Conference unveiled today a new logo as part of an extensive re-branding campaign for the league.  GSD&M designed the logo, and the brand development and re-branding initiative was managed by LDWWgroup on behalf of the conference.

The 10-school league has adopted a tagline "One True Champion" as a central theme for the new brand. The Big 12 is the only high-visibility conference in the nation that will play round-robin (football) and double round-robin (basketball) schedules, thus determining true conference champions annually.

Each league member will implement the new logo in its own team colors in venues, on uniforms and throughout collateral materials by the start of 2014-15.
