ISU Home Match vs. OU on Nov. 9 Set for 5 p.m.
The time was set following Monday’s announcement of the Iowa State football game the same day against TCU being set for 11 a.m. inside Jack Trice Stadium.
The Cyclones and Sooners played one of the most competitive matches of the season in Norman back on Oct. 5 with Oklahoma coming out on top in five sets. Iowa State had three players record double-doubles with Mackenzie Bigbee leading the attack with 18 kills and 11 digs. Kristen Hahn posted a career-high 39 digs in the losing effort.
OU, who is currently 18-4 overall and in a three-way tie for second in the Big 12 at 6-2 in league play, moved into the AVCA top-25 for the first time since 2011 on Monday.
As was the case with last Saturday’s football-volleyball doubleheader that saw the Cyclones sweep TCU, fans will receive $2 tickets with their football ticket stub. The promotion helped bring in the best crowd of the season to Hilton Coliseum, as 3,398 packed in to see ISU and TCU on the court.
Iowa State (12-6, 6-2 Big 12) will be back on its home court tomorrow with a match against Texas Tech at 8 p.m. The match will be televised nationally on ESPNU.
