AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State volleyball team will continue its spring season Saturday at the UNI Spring Play-Day. All matches will take place at the Wellness and Recreation Center on the campus on UNI in Cedar Falls.

Iowa State will play four two-set matches on Saturday. ISU will start out at 9 a.m. against Omaha. ISU will then take on a pair of Big Ten squads as the Cyclones will take on Minnesota at 10 a.m. and in-state foes Iowa at 11 a.m.

Iowa State will wrap up the tournament at 1 p.m. by taking on the Iowa Ice of the Premier Volleyball League. Iowa Ice features multiple former Iowa State greats and was the 2013 PVL Champions, which earned the squad a berth at the FIVB Club World Championships back in October.

ISU started off its spring season last weekend with the Iowa State Spring Tournament in Hilton Coliseum. The Cyclones won all three of its matches, winning eight of the nine sets played.

The Cyclones will close out the spring season next week with a pair of matches. ISU will travel to Carroll on Thursday to take on Creighton at the Carroll High School gymnasium at 6:30 p.m. Iowa State will close out the spring season next Saturday, Apr. 19, with a 2 p.m. showdown against Nebraska at Hilton Coliseum.
