Finished the season 6-14 overall and 3-6 in dual contests after coming off a redshirt season in 2012-13 where he went 8-6… picked up first career dual win on Jan. 17 after downing Rutgers’ Vinnie Dellefave 3-2… won by major decision 19-9 over South Dakota State’s Austin Oyen at the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open.

2012-13
Redshirted sophomore campaign… posted an 8-6 record while competing unattached... went 3-2 at the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open… his three victories at the Cyclone Open all came by way of first period pins… went 3-2 at the UNI Open picking up two pins and a 6-3 decision over Northwestern’s Justin Meyers… finished 2-2 at the Grand View Open  with a 7-4 decision over Steven Rodrigues and a 15-2 major decision over Wisconsin’s Shane McQuade. 

2011-12
Finished season with 5-9 record … earned title at 133 pounds at the Harold Nichols/Cyclone Open … posted a pin and two tech falls before coming back from 6-1 deficit in the finals to defeat Ryan Juach of Northern Iowa 9-7 … participated in eight dual meets, earning first dual meet victory during NWCA Midwest Regional against Shane McQuade of Wisconsin, 8-5 … finished fourth at 133 pounds in the Big 12 Championships.
