Finished the season 9-10 … placed second at the Grand View Open, where he won five-consecutive matches after an opening-round loss … placed sixth at the William Penn Open, scoring bonus points in two matches.

2012-13
Redshirted initial collegiate season... went 15-9 competing unattached in six tournaments… picked up five pins, one tech fall and one major decision… runner-up at the Kaye Young Open after being forced to injury default the championship match… finished third-place at the Flash Flanagan Open, pinning Waldorf’s Dirk McOmber 26 seconds into the consolation title match… earned third-place at the Duhawk Open, took fourth-place at the William Penn Open… also won a national title at the 2013 National Collegiate Judo Championships.

Qualified for the state tournament as a freshman going 16-7 … was unable to wrestle sophomore, junior and senior year due to injury … coached by Ralph Cortez.
