Iowa State Releases 2012-13 Men's Hoops Schedule

AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State men's basketball team announced its schedule for the 2012-13 season today. Iowa State's season-opener is Friday Nov. 9 vs. Southern University in Hilton Coliseum.

The 2012-13 slate features 18 teams which advanced to postseason play in 2012, including 13 games vs. teams which made it to the NCAA Championship. Iowa State will participate in the Global Sports Classic Thanksgiving Tournament, Nov. 23-24. The Cyclones will face 2012 NCAA participant Cincinnati on Friday and will square off against UNLV, another 2012 NCAA qualifier, or Oregon, which advanced to the quarterfinals of the NIT last season.
