Iowa State Announces Menís Hoops Schedule
AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State men’s basketball team announced its 2013-14 schedule today. Iowa State’s season opener will be against UNC-Wilmington on Sunday, Nov. 10 at Hilton Coliseum.
The Cyclones will face 10 teams which advanced to postseason play, including seven games against teams that made it to the NCAA Championship.
The nonconference schedule is highlighted by home games against NCAA runner-up Michigan on Sunday, Nov. 17 and an Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series showdown with Iowa on Friday, Dec. 13. ISU also hosts Auburn on Monday, Dec. 2 in the Big 12/SEC Challenge.
The Cyclones will play UNI in Des Moines as part of the Hy-Vee Big Four Classic at Wells Fargo Arena on Saturday, Dec. 7.
Iowa State will participate in the Diamond Head Classic Dec. 22-25 in Honolulu, Hawai’i. The Cyclones face George Mason in the first game of the tournament.
Big 12 play opens on Jan. 4 at Texas Tech.
