VISIT CYCLONE TICKET EXCHANGE | ORDER TICKETS

AMES, Iowa - For the first time, all Iowa State football tickets will be scanned at the entry gates of Jack Trice Stadium. Fans' tickets will also be exit scanned in order to gain re-entry to the stadium.

This scanning technology will supply a new level of ticket security and give fans more control over tickets they have purchased.  Season-ticket holders and single-game ticket purchasers will be able to re-print or forward their tickets by managing them online through their My Cyclone Athletics Account at cyclones.com. Season-ticket holders will also be provided with a seamless solution for selling seats online to other fans by utilizing our new Cyclone Ticket Exchange, the only authorized Iowa State Athletics resale site.

"The implementation of the electronic ticketing system at Jack Trice Stadium has allowed us to introduce Cyclone Ticket Exchange, the only authorized Iowa State Athletics resale site," Iowa State Director of Ticket Operations Justin Thompson said. "This service offers season-ticket holders and fans an official and secure forum for selling and buying tickets online. It gives our season-ticket holders a stake in the thriving secondary market."

Cyclone Ticket Exchange will make it easier and safer for fans to buy and sell tickets without risk. All buyers and sellers through Cyclone Ticket Exchange have assurance that all tickets bought and sold through that network are guaranteed to be official with bar coding technology.

"Tickets purchased through a third party run the risk of being fraudulent," Thompson said. "Tickets purchased directly from the Iowa State Athletics Ticket Office or Cyclone Ticket Exchange give ticket holders the capability of determining the source of a ticket problem  through scanning. We do not have this capability with tickets purchased through a third party, leaving us unable to assist fans who bought tickets from a third party."

Thompson says fans should arrive earlier for games this fall to get used to the new scanned ticket system.

"We will have people at each gate working to help the transition," Thompson said. "I would recommend coming early and having your barcode facing the ticket scanner to ensure you are in your seat at kickoff."

Saturday's game vs. Northern Iowa in Jack Trice Stadium will kick off at 6 p.m. CDT. The Iowa State - Iowa contest, also to be contested at Jack Trice Stadium, will kick off at 11 a.m.  CDT. Gates to the stadium open 90 minutes prior to kick off.
