Wednesday, March 14: Team Meets The Media and Practices at KFC Yum! Center

The Iowa State men's basketball team kicked off its NCAA Tournament experience by meeting with members of the media before having an open practice Wednesday at the KFC Yum! Center.

Scott Christopherson, Chris Allen and Royce White participated in a formal press conference before head coach Fred Hoiberg took the stage. The entire Cyclone team and staff were available to the members of the media as well in the team's lockerroom.

Sunday, March 11: NCAA Second and Third Round Ticket Information

Iowa State will play in the 2012 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament against Connecticut on, March 15 in Louisville, Ky. The winner of the Iowa State-UCONN game will play the winner of the Kentucky (No. 1 seed) vs. Mississippi Valley State/Western Kentucky (No. 16 seed) game on March 17.

A limited number of tickets - for men's basketball season ticketholders who are members of the Cyclone Club at the Directors (maximum four tickets), Victory (maximum two tickets) and Captains (maximum two tickets) levels only - will be available from the Iowa State Athletics Ticket Office on Monday, March 12 only.

Donors may request tickets by calling (515-294-1816 or toll free 1-888-478-2925) or can visit the ISU Athletics Ticket Office (1800 South Fourth Street, Ames) between 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. CST to place their order. A credit card is required to purchase tickets. Ticket orders are subject to availability and requesting tickets does NOT guarantee fulfillment. All tickets will be allocated according to giving level and priority points within the respective level. Ticket holders will be notified by 1 p.m. if their request cannot be fulfilled.

If tickets remain after 1 p.m., they will be offered to all Cyclone Club members who are men's basketball season ticketholders. The limit will be two tickets per account and seats will be allocated based on giving level.

Tickets cost $81 for each session, fans will only be charged only for the sessions that the Cyclones participate in. Fans purchasing second-round tickets will be charged for the third round only if the Cyclones advance. If Iowa State does not advance, you will not be charged nor will tickets be available for the third round. All tickets must be picked at the Iowa State will-call location at the tournament site (by purchaser only - picture I.D. required).

Fans unable to purchase tickets through Iowa State's limited allotment should check directly with the host site by calling 1-877-NCAA-TIX. Sunday, March 11: Cyclones Are Dancing Again! Face UCONN

The Cyclones are dancing again! The Iowa State men's basketball team received its first NCAA Tournament berth since 2005, as a crowd of approximately 1,500 fans shared in the celebration with the Cyclone squad in Hilton Coliseum today. The 68-team field was unveiled this evening on the giant videoboard.

It is Iowa State's 14th NCAA appearance in school history.

Iowa State earned the No. 8 seed and will face defending national champions No. 9 Connecticut on March 15 at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Ky. The game will begin at apporixmately 8:20 p.m. CDT on TBS
