Cyclones Fall To TCU
FORT WORTH, Texas- The Iowa State soccer team (8-8-2) dropped a close match to the TCU Horned Frogs (6-8-3), 1-0, Friday at the Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium.
Turning point of the game
In the 68th minute, TCU’s Michelle Prokof found her way through the Cyclone defense to score the games lone goal. Before that point the Cyclones had controlled most of the game, but were unable to score any goals to show for it. Iowa State was able to fire 22 shots with 10 being on goal in comparison to the Horned Frogs who had eight shots with two being on goal.

Cyclone game ball goes to…
Jessica Reyes. The senior led the way for the Cyclones with five shots with two being on goal. She was able to find teammates for open looks late in the game to give Iowa State the opportunity to tie the game. The Cyclones had a number of shots that bounced off the top of the cross bar instead of finding the back of the net. Iowa State was able to get good looks at the TCU goal, but was unable to capitalize.
