AMES, Iowa- Cyclone Nation steps up again. During the CyCans food drive put on by ISU’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for the TCU game, a total of 13,443 pounds of food was donated to the Food Bank of Iowa, doubling last season’s efforts.

The CyCans initiative will provide 27,638 meals for Iowans this winter. A total of 78 student-athletes assisted in the event by prepping shopping carts, contacting media and collecting donations from fans. All the effort put in by Cyclone Nation and the student-athletes made CyCans a huge success.
